week 1

When I got the e-mail about the starting of the online course I was very curious to find out how this course will work. At that time I only had a rough overview concerning the course: The topics were clear, but I couldn't imagine how the communication, the learning and the testing would work, when there's no real place to meet, no personal contact, no fixed time for working on this course all together. That's one reason why I decided to enroll: I want to confront myself with an e-learning-enviroment which I actually avoid. I think that the internet offer us a lot of advantages for our studies and probably also for our later profession, but there has never been the necessity for me use this enviroment e.g. for my studies. Before this course I just worked with e-mails or facebook to communicate with other students, so the variety of tools we will use during our course offers me a lot of new opportunities get connected and to work in an online-enviroment. The other reason why I think that course is a good idea is of course the language. In my studies I miss the aspect of internationality and that course seems to aim exactly at that gap.
I get familiar with the e-earning-enviroment quite easy. I could follow the steps and could understand everything. I get an overview and that`s important for me. Some unclear points like "is there a fixed time for the chatsession on friday?" or "do you have the link for the Google-Blog" I discuss with Sara who I know from the last terms. As I already mentioned I'm a little bit sceptical because of the way we will work in this course. Can I follow, will I be able to use the tools of communication like GoogleDocs? Can I express myself correctly in English?
But all in all I look confidently to the next week and the following tasks.
